PLEASE HELP!! My Co-Worker Found this ADORABLE Dog
This is EXACTLY why ALL dogs should wear their tags ALL THE TIME. If this dog had his tags on, he'd be home with his rightful owners.

That is so sad. How could his owners not be looking for him? Is it possible that maybe he was boarded and got out of the building? I pray that his owners find him soon. Will they put him down at the shelter?

Maybe someone could email or fax that to all the groomers in the area--- maybe someone would recognize the dog... or even the vet's offices. It's a long shot- but those are the first couple of places I'd check (and shelters as well). Hope the dog and the owners are reunited!

I agree.
Also I agree, maybe he was boarded and he got out? Someone has to own this well taken care of doggie! I hope he is found soon by his owners or whomever lost him. This is breaking my heart.

I hope his owners come for him soon.
At Brookhaven, the owners only have 3-4 days to claim the dog b4 it is adopted out.
I found a dog in may and took it to my vet, who took it to brookhaven. It's owners didn't come and it was adopted within a week of him getting there.
I thought that is pretty quick, but a guy that worked there said "if your dog was lost, it wouldn't take you that long to notice it was gone and search every shelter in the area". I guess that's true to an extent.
Also, according to the staff, they don't euthanize unless there is a serious problem (terminal illness, serious aggression etc.).
Believe me, I drilled them about what was going to happen to that poor dog.

wow he looks like a cockapoo. He looks like my dog after we get him shaved. He has to be someone's pet. Aww, I hope they find the owner.

This is a good idea, I will check.+
ETA: He did check the local vets and groomers.
I didn't notice before, but it's in the flyer they created.
So sad...poor little boy.
