PLEASE HELP- Need ideas for a retirement gift
A coworker who taught me most of what I know is retiring and I want to get him something nice, but not too expensive (maybe $20-30?). He's retiring to spend more time with his family and new grandchild.
Any ideas? TY!
ETA: I've worked with him for 4 1/2 years and there's a group gift that he's getting also.

How about a nice leather (manly looking) covered photo album. He can fill it with pictures of his grandchildren or vacations! OK...maybe a little corny for a man, but I'm a crafty kinda girl. I'd LOVE for my DH to get a gift like that!

tj maxx homegoods or marshalls has nice gifts
like frames, photo albums
also a $30 bottle of wine is nice too

Do you know of any hobbies he has? You can probably get him something related to that since he will have more time to enjoy doing the things he loves.

Michael's or AC Moore have nice photo albums. Try Target also. They are my fave for 1 stop shopping!

I know he's super excited about being a grandpa, he loves his pool, has a small sailboat (but I don't think he does that much anymore), he's a PE (Professional Engineer)......

How about a picture frame like everyone suggested but how about one that is personalized with the new stage of his life as a grandpa....here is a link to give you an idea.....

I was searching online and saw this. I thought this was a nice way for him to jot down memories and then one day give it to his grandchild. It's a nice keepsake.

Thank you so much!
Those are some great ideas I can look into! It is his 1st grandchild. Maybe something relating to being a grandpa with something relating to retirement....I just don't know what guys like. I'll have to look around.

Is he planning on traveling anywhere soon after retiring? My old boss is going to Italy, and I got him a Lonely Planet travel guide, a LP food guide and a LP phrase book.
