DD has been off the bottle/formula for over 3 weeks won't touch a drop of milk. Ped says its fine as long as she's eating cheese and yogurt and drinking fluids throughout the day.

I am of no help. I just stated trying transitioning Kara to whole milk. I am putting 5 oz. formula 1 oz organic cows milk in a bottle but I noticed that she is have more bowel movements that are very loose.
She will be 1 on the 25th, I stopped the cows milk today because I'm not sure if it's agreeing with her. Maybe you can try the cows milk in a bottle??

what do you give her when she first wakes up and would normally give her a bottle?? DS seems to love his morning and evening botles and is still having 4 a day or formula

Re: Please help question for mommies who are/have switched to cows milk..
Have you tried a gradual transitioning? With DD we did 1/3 milk with 2/3 formula then 1/2 and 1/2 and then 1/3 formula with 2/3 milk then milk and I had no problems.
The ped said that we could switch cold turkey, but my mom said that when she did that with my brother he was projectile vomiting, so I decided to do a gradual transition.
After we finished and got completely to milk, we transitioned to the sippy cup so that she has 3 a day - one with each meal and then she gets a bottle before bed.

we also did the gradual transistion- it took about 1 1/2 weeks. We did 3 days of 2 ounces milk, 6 ounces formula. then 4 ounces milk, 4 ounces formula for 3 days, and then then 6 ounces milk and 2 ounces formula for 3 days and then we were on all milk and it wasn't even a fight!

Re: Please help question for mommies who are/have switched to cows milk..
I was lucky because I just handed both my kids a sippy with milk and they just drank it off the bat.
In all honesty, just stop buying the formula and give him the cows milk. He may not want to drink it for a few days until he gets adjusted, but that's okay. He will realize that that is what he has to drink and that is it.
I know how hard it is. Good luck!

I started adding an oz. of whole milk at 10.5 months and by 11.5 months he was on whole milk completely. Every week I would add an oz. of whole milk and take a oz of formula out.
