Jack, my dog, cat and myself will be evacuating once again this weekend since as of right now Katrina is set to make landfall in our home town which will be horrible since only 5 weeks ago Dennis decided to hit right in the same place and well Ivan was pretty close that that spot as well and that was less then a year ago. My house is made of special hurricane proof construction and I could stay but with just me and the baby I don't feel like testing out my house and my husband who I can't contact will feel at ease once he hears we just left and are with family.
Luckily my mom is jumping on a flight out of NC in an hour and will be here for me to drive back with her to her house so that I have another adult in the car to keep me awake and offer an extra hand with Jack and then she already was planning on visiting for labor day so she will drive back with me next week and stay the long weekend.
