this was DS#2 invite
I did a candy buffet instead of traditional favors. I got white craft bags and made these stickers for them
As for entertainment we just had a dj and everyone had a great time

Barb made this for me. I like an invitation I saw with a baby's hand holding the rosary, so I just took a pic of my ds holding his.

that picture w/ cross is adorable. did ur sons wear the gowns or just his christening outfit? i want to get Cooper fun little shorts (w/ knee socks) and but its not going to have any kind of flowing robe.. not sure if those flowy gowns are needed these days? what do u all think?

I would personally not do a gown for a boy. A cute little pant suit or shorts would be what I would do.

My son wore the white sweater vest with matching white pants. My second son is going to wear the same thing. Thank goodness it fits!!!
You can put your son in anything you'd like. I remember my cousin's (all boys) wore the christening gown but I think today it's very old school if anyone still does it.

Not a great pic but here were our favors -- they are sugar cookies. I also made everyone 2 chocolate covered oreos.
I didn't love my DS outfit, but I had such a hard time finding an outfit i liked for july
And we win the worst cake contest!! lol The restaurant made the cake and when they brought it out I couldn't believe it!!

Here are some pics from DS's baptism last June. 
We had his party at the Heritage Center at Heritage Park in Mt. Sinai. We decorated with white roses and blue ribbons. The favors were baby powder scented candles I found at AC Moore and I tied a cute little poem to each one. The (rather ugly) cake is from Costco. I had no idea the blue would be so bright! Oh, and DS's outfit is from a little shop in Sayville. I had such a hard time finding something I liked for a boy that was light weight. What I finally found was perfect -- linen!

I beg to differ-They spelt B's name wrong on his cake, they left out the Y. So they took it back, and only had blood red icing to re-do it. This is what they brought out.
Even B is afraid of the cake
