Please reccomend a Wine Bar and/or romantic italian restaurant in the city

Lookign for suggestions for a nice wine bar in the city. Location doesnt matter much, but preferably in the Times Square/Midtown area.

Also looking for a nice romantic italian restaurant for dinner.

Vero. There are 2 locations:

Midtown: 1004 2nd Ave (on 53rd)

Uptown: 1483 2nd Ave (b/w 77th and 78th)

I think the uptown one might have better reviews, though. I've only been to the midtown one.

I went a couple of years ago. the food was good. I went witha friend. we each got an appatizer, salad, entree, and dessert and we were still a little hungry after. neither of us are big eaters. if I go to say, cheesecake factory, I just get 1 entree and bring more than half of it to go. Ayza was good, but not enough food for dinner. Better to go for a drink and a few appatizers before dinner maybe. Unless they have changed the menu and portions in the past couple of years.

Marea is supposed to be really good, but it is a lil pricey.

This place is more uptown, but it is really good!
