If they are both combined it would be great. Also please tell me where you got it. Nothing too expensive. He is almost 5 months old. Thank you. Chat Icon

My cat has the regular carpetted scratch posts you see in the pet stores. It is carpetted and has a small tunnel she can jump through or sit in, has two posts fro scratching/stretching and a half tunnel she can lay in. She never uses the 1/2 tunnel to lay in, though. She LOVES it. We are in the 2nd one because she loved it a little too much Chat Icon We did originally get her the one that has a burpal like roping in the middle, but she did not like that one. We got ours at PetSmart

"grandma" bought mine for my cat, Belle. I do not know what it cost (I think on the higher end), but I know that she LOVES it! She is declawed, but still scratches away and uses every perch to relax in. It is in front of my 3rd floor apartment window and she spends hours checking out the action below.

Will post a pic.

I bought a post with a little perch on top that's the same height as my window sill. My kitties love it!

But here's my best advice on ANY post - make sure it's made of sisal!!! I did research on it when I first bought it and I can't remember why exactly it is better, just that is is.

Mine is something like THIS.
