Please Reccommend
I am trying to plan my sisters bridal shower for this August.
She is not having a bridal party other than myself and a best man so the bill of the shower lands only on me and my mom.
We are really trying to find a place very inexpensive, like under $20pp
We would like Suffolk County and it would be for about 50 people.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for me, I would really appreciate it.

would you be opposed to having a shower at home? I love home showers. my bridal shower was at home thrown by my mom and sister and my mom and I also hosted my SIL's shower at my moms' house...both were huge successes!! we were well under $20.00 per person and people were able to stay as late as they wanted to. we got a few things catered (i.e. a tray of ziti) but also made some things and asked some good friends to bring some things...worked out great!

I like home showers as well. I threw one for a friend and it was just her dad and I paying, and i think her fh too. Definitely a great way to keep the cost down and it was such a nice shower!
Maybe try Brickhouse Brewery or Sunset Harbor in Patchogue.

My shower was in the home of a friend and worked wonderfully...
But if you want to do it outside, I'd check into Smithtown Landing or one of the other Lessing's properties. I love Danfords (had our reception there) but I think they've raised their prices quite a bit since the renovations.

Try a Chinese buffet. Mine was at the International Buffet in Westbury (which I know you don't want) but it was like $15pp with soda. I'm sure that's comparable around here. I think** Sunny Buffet on Main St in Bay Shore is a good place to try. (Not sure of the name)

I would try a Chinese Buffet. They can probably do it for under $20. I went to a baby shower at the one on Sunrise Highway in Patchogue (in the Bob's shopping center). It was nice and there was a private room.

I had my sisters last year at J&R's steakhouse in Stony Brook. It was 13.99 a person and was great. The price may have went up a tad. They have a private room, that price includes a choice of 3 entrees, salad, bread, coffee and tea and a cake (which was yummy). I highly recommend it! Google them and the catering information comes up on their site.

There is a cute chinese restaurant right near my house...Imperial Orchid. Food is good. We get takeout from there all the time. There is a sign that says they do showers. Their prices are reasonable too. They are located just north of sunrise highway on Deer Park Avenue

You could also try Blue Lagoon in West Babylon. We do our holiday party there and i know they are very reasonable! Good luck!

J&R's is around $18 pp last I checked.
Any chinese place should be fairly inexpensive.
You could also try some italian places, most of the ones with pizzeria's attached are pretty inexpensive too.
The best idea would be a home party cuz there's no time limit, but it's a LOT more work.
