Please recomend a light/soft grey or greige paint color... UPDATE tried all of the suggestions
I bought a pint of BM Silver Satin but I feel like it looks a touch too silvery/lavender with my walls/lightening.
uodate:
ok, I treid them all & I liked them all individually but nothing worked with my sofa color. My sofa color is a dirty taupey/light grey.
I think I need more of an off white color with maybe a hinge of gray. Any more suggestions?

BM Stonington Grey is a nice Grey. I heard Owl grey is nice too. We have Stonington and it's a soft grey.

It might be too dark for you but BM castle gate is a taupy grey. If it's too dark maybe something near it on the color wheel will work

I don't have the color in my walls personally but I will be trying Ben Moore Edgecomb Gray which is light and taupe-y, based on pics.

We just used BM's Intense White in our dining room (no drapes and decor yet  ) :
It's a faint grey with a tan undertone. It has just enough contrast with the trim (hard to make out in the photo.)

I would not do grey if you couch is grey.....it will never match completely and will probably look too matchy.

I agree!
What else do you have going on in the room, in terms of color of area rug, pillows, accessories? In my living room, I have a patterned area rug with several colors in it, and I picked up on a pale green color as my wall color. It's soft enough to feel neutral and the rug kind of grounds the room so the wall color is tied in but provides a good neutral backdrop for other colors, if that makes sense. But I think the walls matching the color of one if the (or the) largest furniture pieces in the room will be too monochromatic.

We don't really have much going on right now other than the couch..lol It's an empty room. I will try a few more samples & pick accents from there. thanks so much everyone!

Picking a grey is so hard!! We just did our dining room and foyer American White, which is a light grey. Grey's can look yellow, green or blue, i feel like this one leans to blue. It's the color on top of the chair rail.

BM Balboa Mist is between an off-white and a light grey, depending on light in the room and time of day. It's very neutral and crisp.
In the pictures below it appears a little bit darker grey than it really is but just a touch.
