Please recommend a digital camera
My DH wants one with 8 pixels. I am clueless as to this stuff. All I know is that the one he wants is $600+ and I am looking for something for less..any recs?

I got this one for my birthday last month and I love it. It isn't 8 though, it is 7.1

I got a Canon 7.1 elph off amazon 2 months ago - for $250! it was more then half off - its back up there in price now - maybe like 350 or so. The camera is great though

I got a Sony Cybershot for my birthday, and I love it. It's 7.2 megapixels, not 8, but honestly, there's no real difference. Not sure how much it was, but I know they're fairly reasonable (and way below $600) at Best Buy.

Hey girl.
I have a canon that is 6 megapixels- the sure shot- which I love...
so much better than my sony.
they also make a 7.1 mp powershot and a 10 mp powershot both for about $370
what I would do is go on shopzilla.com once you find the camera you want to buy- that will help you find the best deal- I did that for the Canon SD600 I just bought and it was best priced believe it or not on Dell.com- for $190 when everyone else was selling for $269!

Look for the Canon Digital Rebel or the Nikon D50. It's similar to the old 35 mm cameras but it will be the last digital camera you'll buy.

I have the Sony Cybershot. It is 8.1 megapixels and has a touch screen. It's super easy to use and it's sooo small. I love it!
