my parents just used Allied but used the one operated by Hillside Van Lines in East Northport...Very reasonable & great to work with

Johnson movers (I think they are in Levittown). Got the reco from here and used them and they were awesome!

Moveco - Excellent company. They will give you a flat rate. They wrap everything so nothing will break.
I recommend them to everyone and everyone was happy with their service.

We used Gentil Moving Services in Garden City Park. They were great--very quick, came in under the estimate, and best of all, no damage to any of our things. I highly recommend them.
If you google Gentil Moving Services, you should be able to find their website easily.
