Please recommend fun indoor places to take a 2 year old when the weather gets cold
We've been to the East End Children's Museum (which DS loved) and the one LI Children's Museum (which DS hated for some reason)... But looking for places to take him where he can run around that aren't super expensive. I take him to open play time at the mommy and me by my house one day a week and to library classes. I live in Suffolk so somewhere here would be great. A friend suggested Fun 4 All...is this a good place for young kids? The website pictures look like it's for older children. Any recommendations would be great...thank you!!

"My Gym" they are a franchise and have many locations.
I've gone to the west babylon location in the great South Bay shopping center. DS loved it.

middle country library in centereach is a great place
fun 4 all has a toddler area and a "gravel" room that DS loves to play in (if you dont mind your kid playing with black rubber mulch

We do
Childrens Museum of the East End- which you mentioned. DS is taking 2 art classes there this month.
Aquarium- since DS is still 2 we can get the couples membership and its cheap
Safari Adventure
Library
If it's sunny enough to walk, we do the Quogue Wildlife Refuge, they have an indoor nature center too.
As you can see, I live on the east end so my answers are skewed there.

Imaginations at Play in ronkonkoma. I haven't been yet but I've heard good things.

We just joined the annual membership for the LI childrens museum which is $135. The cradle of Aviation has the "JETCLUB" and it's only $2.50 to get it. for kids 2-6. YOu can also do book stores have story time.
We joined Westbury library for the 1,2,3 Play with me program.

Fun 4 All is fine for a 2 year old. They have a smaller children's area along with the smaller and larger bouncers. My niece is almost 2, and has a good time there.

Most libraries have museum passes where you can borrow a pass and get into a museum for free. Check with your library to see if they have any.

mini bowling at coram country lanes, new place called happy faces grand opening on facebook located in coram too, Abigail bottoms preschool has a small area to pretend play in patchogue, krazy kids in medford has a small toddler area too.

I always signed the kids up for Gymboree in the winter. There is a groupon for it right now. You have the one class, but then you can go to open play time there as well.
