My advice don't get one unless you plan on chasing after balls none stop . If you still want one, I like the ones you posted but you are going to need A LOT of balls to just cover the bottom at least.

Re: Please recommend your ball pit!
it comes with 75 balls. I read the reviews and it seems I will need 100 more.

we have an older one, moose mountain's gumball playland. sorry don't have a pic handy to put in here.
its about a 5ft diameter round one, and we have a good 300 balls in it... anything less and it looks empty. and the balls get squished and break, really i could probably use a new 100 in it... (but i've been using this thing on and off for the last 5 years, it owes me nothing)

I love this one. I wanted it for my DS, but his uncle got him something bigger.

I honest to god hate our ball pit more than any other toy we have. We had it out for a while and now it is packed up and in DS' closet hiding.

If KBToys is still open, go there for the balls...everything was going for like 80% off.

I've seen this one in the one step ahead catalog, I think it is $150, if I remember correctly.

I have the same question-where to you keep these-especially this one because it seems really big. Is it meant for outside? We've been looking into these, but I have no idea where we would put it.

Either my basement or the backyard (during the summer)

I have the catalog with me...the picture shows 250 balls. It's $149.95 (includes 50 balls) and you can buy 100 extra balls for $24.95.
I actually like this one better - it folds up compact and you can see through the sides. Although you will be chasing balls around.
$59.95 with 100 balls and 100 extra balls is $24.95
