please recommend your car mechanic
i need to get my timing belt done and need a good, reasonably-priced mechanic. south shore nassau is preferrable.

DH's friend is part owner of Bill's Friendly Auto in Albertson. DH's friend is very honest and reasonable.

I can recommend DHs old boss. DH works for Lexus now & can do it, if you own a Lexus.

Believe it or not, both my performance vehicle and daily driver (SUV) are both serviced by a little gas shop place across from Costco in Farmingdale off 110.
HE'S GREAT!!!!
very very very affordable, quick and realiable. I can't say enough about him.
Mind you, I drive a sports car (Modifiied 03 Mazda6) and my hubby and I both don't let just anyone touch that car.  Talk about PICKY.
But this guy is GREAT and cheap.
If you decide to go there, gimme a heads up and we'll talk to the guy and let him know you're coming.
