Please recommend your child's play kitchen.
I am getting an early start on my DD's Xmas wishlist. I know my sister wants to buy her a kitchen but there are SO many out there, I figured I better get moving on researching it. She will be 18 months come December but I want one that will last her for a few years.
TIA

We have the Step 2 kitchen as well, a little different from the link the PP posted, but probably just an older model. Both my kids love it; we got it when DD was 18 months, and at 3 she still plays with it.

Re: Please recommend your child's play kitchen.
I just bought ds the red retro one from pottery barn kids but I bought it on Craigslist, no way I could afford to pay that amount of money on a play kitchen lol

We got the one from Ikea. It's really nice... And we keep it in our kitchen. The range lights up and the whole thing looks cute!

We have the Step 2 Lifestyle Legacy - I love it. DS goes through phases where he plays with it more than others but, it's great.

Re: Please recommend your child's play kitchen.
I have been looking at these for my DD for Christmas as well.
Does anyone have one that makes sounds? My DD was at a friend's and they have the "Just like Home" microwave, toaster and a few times that are super cute and make noises, but I noticed a few of the big Step 2 sets don't seem to have many bells/whistles.

I have the Step 2 Lifestyle deluxe and it makes many sounds. Working burner with bubbling pot, microwave with keypad and sounds, oven with keypad and sounds, dishwasher with keypad and sounds, and a telephone that makes sound.

Re: Please recommend your child's play kitchen.
We just bought DS the Step 2 Lifestyle Legacy and he LOVES it! Not too big, has lots of cute accessories like a coffee pot, recyling bin, even a little reusable grocery bag.. Was pretty reasonably priced too!
