Please recommend your Dermatologist!
since pregnant I've developed lots of moles on my thighs and legs...
I can do Nassau and/or Western Suffolk.

I haven't gone in a while, but I used to go to John Walczyk. He was really good, although it isn't so easy to get an appt. He is in Manhasset by Macys on Northern Blvd.
My mom and brother still go to him (from Commack!) from my referral.

I have a lot of melanoma in my family, and also had a lot of creepy moles develop during pregnancy. I decided to go to a well known melanoma expert... the chair of derm at sloan kettering...

I won't lie, I made the appt in late june, and got an appt in the happauge office for late november... but becuase of my family history, I think it's all for the best that I become his patient.
In the interim, I went to another Dr. to get the majorly creapy moles lobbed off.

My mom had some removals with Dr. Mimi Bansal in Lake Success. DH also goes to her.

I completely LOVE my dermatologist - she's a young woman in her thirties in solo practice, and gives very personalized and knowledgeable service. Her name is Dr. Dimitria Papadopoulous; her practice is called Bellmore Dermatology 516.781.5070.
