Re: Please recommend your double stroller for an infant and toddler...
we are in the process of looking and have decided on the prego aria specifically because of the 60/40 seat... we took ds to the store and sat him in the strollers and at 12 months he is tight in alot of them so he will have alittle more room in the 60 seat... seriously go and lift them all... the weight of the stroller and the size of the seats were the biggest issues for us...

Re: Please recommend your double stroller for an infant and toddler...
I can answer this - I just got the city mini double and LOVE it...my dds are almost three and 3 mos yesterday....its perfect for me and even folds nice ot fit in my jeep! its easy to steer, fold, etc! my only complaint is we didn't buy the car seat adaptor b/c it jiggles way too much (the nice man in bbb showed me that!) and got horrible reviews...so it stinks if younger dd is napping and wakes up during the transition to and from her car seat...but other than that, love, love, love it! feel free to fm me with questions if you want!

Just so you know before you purchase this stroller the 60% part is where the infant car seat goes and the older child goes into the 40% part. It was not intuitive at all. I thought exactly like you did. So if you are thinking (like me) that you would put the infant seat in and the older child next to it, well the older DC must be in the 40% part if the infant is kept in the car seat.
The only two strollers that let an older child sit comfortably with the infant next to them is either the Baby Jogger City Mini (BJCM) or either of the Maclaren Twin strollers.
The plus for the BJCM is that you can keep the infant in the car seat and attach it via the optional bar and straps. In my mind, the minus for the BJCM is that it is really heavy. It does give both DCs a full recline. If DS liked it, we would have gotten it, but it did not sit upright enough for his liking. I also think he objected to the hood sides for the reline.
The plus for both of the Maclaren Twins is that they are light weight 21 and 26 lbs for the techno and triumph. The minus and this can be a deal braker for some - is that it does NOT accommodate the infant car seat. Instead you need to get the Snuzzler insert and that is the head and neck support for the infant. So every time you use it, you have to take the infant out of the car seat. I loved that the stroller was 21 lbs. DS liked this in the store the best, so this is what we have opted to go with. I can give a better review in action in a couple of weeks after DD is born.
If you are ok with removing the infant from the car seat then you could also get the snuzzler for the peg and put the infant into the 40% side, but in my mind, in 6 months to a year you might want even sized seats and then there will be fighting about which DC gets the bigger side.

We absolutely love our citi-mini jogger. My kids are 16 months apart and love how easy it is to steer
