Please recommend your luggage
i need a new luggage set - something durable as i travel pretty frequently, but nothing too expensive
ideally i'd like a 3 pc set for under $300
do you have any recommendations? i'm not interested in anything from target as i've already looked, and they seem rather flimsy

Re: Please recommend your luggage
I got a whole set from Samsonite for my bridal shower and it's awesome. It's really durable and waterproof. I bought a similar set for my sister for her bridal shower at the outlet in Tanger. I *think* it was like 400 for 4 pieces, so it might be worth a trip there to see what they have.

We both have Samsonite and I agree, it's the best! My mom got mine at Macy's and then gave DH a set from Marshall's. Marshall's has great prices on luggage.

Re: Please recommend your luggage
Costco brand - Kirkland!!
My DH used to buy Tumi (the ballistic nylon ones) exclusively because he traveled to Asia so much. The Tumi bags would break often and it became too much of a hassle to repair, plus he was annoyed that he was paying such a hefty price tag to begin with for what's supposed to be quality luggage.
He needed a large bag quickly b/c his Tumi was busted and we saw a nice Kirkland one (resembled the Tumi and was made with ballistic nylon) at Coscto. My DH abuses his bags b/c he travels often with heavy samples and the Kirkland one is going strong!!!

Re: Please recommend your luggage
We went with Delsey "Helium Fusion" Luggage from Macy's. It was one of the cheapest sets that they carried. We also got it in this sky blue color. I have yet to see someone with the same color set on a flight. It helps when there are 150,000 black bags on a single flight.
