Please recommend your out of state flower delivery company....
Just curious what you guys come up with.... most reliable, best quality, reasonable price.
If by chance you have a direct florist in Sarasota, FL... that would be awesome too!!!
Thanks!

Re: Please recommend your out of state flower delivery company....
Anytime I am sending flowers out of state I google the town name and see if they have any local florists. I find the service is much better and I get to speak to an actual florist not some guy sitting in a cubicle looking at a computer.

I've had good experiences with ProFlowers. Their flowers are boxed (so you have to take them out, unwrap an set up yourself). But I liked their quality, service and prices.

doesnt 1800 flowers send the order to a florist thats closest to the person in their network..
or FTD? one of those does it that way. Unlike proflowers that ship from the grower.

Re: Please recommend your out of state flower delivery company....
I just call a local florist, tell them how much I want to spend and what type of flowers/colors I would like.
I just pick a random florist - never had any issues... and let me tell you - you would not believe how much more you get for your $ then when you go throughg 1-800 Flowers!
My MIL sent me a picture of the last bouquet we sent her - it was $40 + tax and a small fee for delivery and it was HUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!!! that would have probably cost $100 through 1-800 flowers!

Yeah, that's what it seems like even on the local florist websites... $40 arrangements for $89.95! I wonder if they give a different price when you call.
I think I may actually bake fresh cookies tomorrow and send them priority mail!

Re: Please recommend your out of state flower delivery company....
I am another one that looks online for local florists & go with them. I have ordered in the past from 1800Flowers & the person never got the delivery.
My mom lives OOS & I sent her flowers for Easter for the first time from a local florist in her area. She raved about the flowers, so I ordered again from there for Mother's day!
