We use and are very happy with Suffolk Pediatrics, Drs Woletsky, Zanolin and Lambert.
They have evenings, Saturdays and every 3rd Sunday. We called last Sunday night at 7pm and got a call back within 10 minutes. We also like that there is always a male and female doc and/or nurse practitioner on at all times. Not a concern now, but it could be as DC gets older.

We go to Dr. Matthews in Lindenhurst -- love the doctors and nurses, don't like their hours. I wish they opened up earlier -- they open at 10.

I use Dr. George on Higbie in West Islip. I think the office is clean, the doctors are competent, the hours are reasonable and the wait times are manageable. I used to use Grello and liked them a lot - but went with Dr. George when he split from the practice because I didn't really care for the front desk at Grello. But the doctor's were all fantastic.

We use Babylon Village Pediatrics and love it there. We don't feel like we are just another number and also they don't just throw antibiotics at us for every little thing.
They have Saturday hours and also Sunday hours for sick visits during the cold/flu season.

I also use Suffolk Pediatrics- Dr. Woletsky.
I never have to wait long at all, and he meets with me in his office after every single visit to go over the appointment and answer and questions/concerns I might have.

I favor Stephen over Ciro where the Grello's are concerned. The practice WAS Dr. Fred, Dr. Ciro, Dr. George and Dr. Bonafede. Dr. Fred retired and Dr. Stephen came in and Dr. George left - I don't think there was any drama.. he just wanted his own practice. Then Dr. Bonafede went to Dr. George's practice sometime around the time Jenn came in as the PA at Grello. So Dr. George now has Bonafede and another young female doctor - Dr. VanCura. They are all great and kind of follow a similar logic to the Grello's in a lot of ways... they don't medicate a ton and have a lot of faith in the kids natural immunity. I like them a lot. So much that I actually travel from Sayville to see them. The staff is pleasant and never seems rushed, annoyed or flustered. They have a seperate sick room and always manage to squeeze me in for a sick visit as needed. I've never had a challenge getting a call back from the doctors on off hours and they never make me feel like I'm bothering them. And Dr. George amazes me because he always seems to remember things about the boys regardless of how often he sees them.

Love Grello Pediatrics. All the doctors their are great. Like the OP mentioned...they are not quick to put you DC on meds, which I like.
We've seen both Stephen and Ciro...both are great. Stephen is more warm and fuzzy, where Ciro is more 'clinical', but he has seemed to warm up lately.

There is now a 4th doctor in the practice - Dr. Bilder. She is an older woman, but I was very impressed with her at DD's 2 year appt.

we use Dr. George's office too and Dr. Bilder is very gentle with the little ones! DD seemed to warm up to her pretty quickly :)

My oldest is 16 so we've been with Woletsky since the beginning. In Sept. my 10 yo DS had his annual. I wasn't even thinking because he always loved Regina (the PA). Well we had Dr. Jenny. As soon as she entered the room he burst into tears. She asked him "Do you want a male Dr?" In tears "YESSSS...."
Literally 2 minutes later, Zanolin walked in. No questions asked, no further mention of the incident made. They are very sensitive to the gender issue.

My DH is friends w/ the Grello brothers which is why we chose them - they are both great! However, I don't think you can go wrong w/ Woletsky or George either! You have 3 great offices to choose from.
