I know a fabulous on in Howard Beach -- not sure where you are located. He is amazing! He is the only dentist who can work with my nephew who has autism and also my niece who has gets VERY nervous with strangers.

Dr. Azin. She has offices in Bay Shore and Huntington.
We used her when we lived in East Islip - but switched to someone else when we moved to Sayville. My boys HATED the new guy with a fiery passion so we went back to Dr. Azin.
She is patient, competent, friendly and the boys are completely at ease with her - not fearful and anxious like they were with the other dentist.

I have heard great things about Dr. Mike Iaonnou in Commack. I went to high school with him and he always said he wanted to be a dentist. When DS's time comes...we will be going there.

He was my dentist growing up and I have to say has not aged at all. His hygenist is fantastic with children with sensory issues.
He does not take insurance but is worth every penny.
Jacob had a fall a month ago where he had to take xrays to make sure there was no nerve damage- which thankfully there wasn't. He was very accomodating and took as right away and made Jacob feel good.

he has another office in holtsville. i work there the days hes not there but a few times we were working together he was great w the kids!

Hi,
After I made the appointment I saw there is a Holsville office. I am in Medford so that would make more sense. However, it says Dr. Mike is in Commack, maybe its his brother (?) in Holsville? I wonder if one is better/nicer then the other, do you know? I was also told they're the only ones who take my insurance, which is The UFT Welfare Fund ( I'm a city teacher). Posted by WNA01
