Please recommend your stainless steel tea kettle
My mom would like a stainless steel tea kettle for under $60. The oxo one I found on the bed bath and beyond website had bad reviews. Any recs?

Not sure how much it cost, but I have a Kitchen Aid one that I love. I use it daily. I've even thrown it in the dishwasher when it's looking grimy from getting something splattered on it when I am cooking.

I have the OXO one too. I hardly ever use it but it's always on my stovetop as 'decoration' because it looks nice. No problems or complaints from when I've used it.

The only review I've looked at so far was for the Oxo Good Grips Uplift™ Brushed Stainless Steel Tea Kettle A bunch of reviews said it stopped whistling after about a year, the handle got hot, and it rusted inside.

Revere. They always whistle well enough to be heard and last. I have had them for years and my daughter also has one. They have a merry sound.
I dislike kettles that are so quiet they can't be heard if I go out of the room because then by the time I wander back all the water has boiled away

I've had the Oxo one for awhile (like 3 years) and I like it alot. I haven't had any problems. I use it several times a week.

I've had mine around 2 years and I love it too. No rust and it was just whistling like a bandit.

Re: Please recommend your stainless steel tea kettle
I have this one and love it.
My only complaint is that it is the loudest teapot I ever heard in my life. It sounds like someone is being bludgeoned to death in my kitchen when it goes off I make a point to stand near it when it is almost done because the sound just goes right through me
oh I got it at HomeGoods for $25 too

I just clean it with a SOS pad, and it cleans right up!
