Please send some good thoughts my way for tomorrow
On my neurosurgeon's suggestion (with my OB's backing), I am having an MRI on my lower back tomorrow.
Yet another thing that they tell me is "safe" for the baby, but another thing that I've been losing sleep over. I know that I need to know exactly what's going on so that they know if they need to operate right after I deliver...but I just can't help but think about all the things that could go wrong...
The first thing I'm going to do when I hold my little  is to whisper in her ear how very sorry I am for everything that I've put her through.

if it makes you feel better, I have never heard of MRI's causing any fetal problems.... it's just a big ol' magnet......
lots of  I know you're really upset about all the problems with your back and how they're affecting your baby.... but you're honestly doing the best that you can, and I can honestly say I'm impressed by how much you endured on your own to protect her!
so please don't be hard on yourself

I just wanted to add that I too have heard that MRI's are totally safe when pregnant. I was supposed to have a follow up MRI in June and my doc said it was fine except that they needed me to have the dye/contrast which they won't do when you're pregnant.
You need to give yourself a break! You're doing the best you can and in my opinion a pretty d*mn good job in the light of what you're going through.
Your is going to be fine!!

This was reassuring to read, good to know! I personally really value when you chime in. 
Beth, I too have never heard of it being a no no. I am sure your baby will be fine, I really believe that. You have only done what your drs suggested you do.
