Please share you quick dinner ideas for toddlers
DS eats dinner before I do each night - I usually plop him in the high chair to eat while I cook for BF and I. So, on a normal night he's eating the previous night's leftovers, which is super easy for me because I just pop it in the microwave to heat it up.
But at least 2 nights a week I find that I don't have left overs to heat up for him and I never know what to make for him that's quick and easy. I used to get the Perdue chicken nuggets but he's not a huge fan and they end up going to waste.
Any ideas on what I can make on those nights that's fast and easy and healthy?
ETA: DS is 2.

Some ideas off the top of my head:
mac & cheese (I make my own- very easy) Dr Praegers veggie nuggets/pancakes hummus & pita/crakers with some cheese & fruit turkey dogs Pasta/ravioli/tortellini with butter & Parm cheese breakfast for dinner- waffles/pancakes scrambled eggs (throw in cheese & veggies) turkey burger sliders (i make them and freeze ahead of time, then cook that day) pierogies
Also, when I make sauce, I freeze in tiny portions for DD, I can always heat quickly & throw over cooked pasta

When my son is very fussy or I need a very quick meal I usually do farina and fruit or pearl cous cous with a side of fruit or vege. Both fill the tummy but are super easy....
Eggs, cheese and spinach omlette is also a staple in my home

When we need a quick dinner we do:
A brat cut up w/Annies Mac & Cheese
Grilled Cheese and whatever soup we have on hand
Nitrate free turkey lunch meat, cheese, cuccumbers, and grn olives
PB&J with Grapes
Sausage and waffles heated up

We usually eat together so she eats what we eat, but on nights we don't I usually turn to pasta since she loves it and mix veggies in the sauce. She likes wheat pasta, pierogies or ravioli with sauce and steamed veggies. Homemade mac & cheese is really easy too.

I agree on all points. I also have sauce frozen in little cubes just for her. also chicken cutlet is super easy. i just take a small breast and coat it with breadcrumbs and pan fry for a few mins on each side. i also buy these organic miso soup packets (low sodium) and boil that up and add some rice or noodles.

Something I almost always keep on hand:
I take a pound of ground turkey, season it up (eggs & all) as I do for making turkey burgers. I form them, saran wrap them & freeze . I make them kid size! Defrost for maybe 15 seconds in microwave & then cook in a pan on stove top!! DS is not a hige bread fan so he just eats the peices dipped in ketchup!!

Pasta with a little butter and grated cheese and a veggie
Grilled cheese sandwich with a fruit cup and yogurt
Mac N Cheese (I make pasta and fold in american cheese slices from the deli. It's melty and yummy and my DD LOVES it)
Scrambled eggs and toast
Cereal (cold cereal or oatmeal)

I am so glad I clicked into this post. That weelicious site looks fantastic. DD is a picky eater, and I am hoping that trying some of these recipes might change that!!!
Thank you!!!

I'm so glad that I read the thread before just clicking reply! Just about everything on this list would be my suggestion. Right now DD is loving the Dr. Praegers Veggie Tots and Kirkland Brand Mickey Nuggets.
