Re: Please Share your Affordable Cribs
For DS we got the crib from JC Penney. It is the Olivia crib in expresso (but the expresso color is not a black brown, rather it's a very pretty dark wood with no red tones, but not close to black).
It was something like $239? $259? Can't remember exactly. But it's hard wood, doesn't chip easily at all. It has a metal springboard for the mattress (a lot of cribs come with an MDF board to put the mattress on). Came VERY quick with free delivery to the store. I think it arrived 5 days after I ordered (so no waiting 8+ weeks like other stores say).
DS will be 2 years old soon and the crib still looks great! I really recommend it.
For this baby, I am looking to get the mini crib from BRU - I think it's made by Delta? My BFF has one for her son and by the time this baby is ready to grow out of it, DS will be able to move to a toddler or twin bed and his baby sister can get his bigger crib or also move into a toddler bed. We have limited space since both kids will be in the same room, so the mini crib will be the best option for us.

We used a coupon with ours and got it for 240. It retails for 299 at BRU. We were going to get the Baby Cache at 500 but when we went to the store this one was just as sturdy if not more so we decided to make a wiser decision and get this one

Re: Please Share your Affordable Cribs
We just ordered the Babi Italia Eastside Classic crib in white from BRU. It says that its $329 on their website, but in the store it was marked down to $199.99. With tax I paid $217 and it was here in a week!
