in MLB. I can't believe it's not already part of baseball when NBA and NFL already has it.
This call is beyond horrible and yet nothing is done about it. This is happening way too often...

I was trying to figure out what an "instant reply" in baseball was, then I realized you meant instant replay.
It would be nice if you texted or emailed a player, and they instantly sent you a reply, though. 
That call wasn't even a "different point of view" or "professional discretion call" or anything. That was a huge mistake...

I tend to agree. Baseball is so subjective anyway.... strike zones vary by person, what counts as a home run in one park is a foul ball in another, to me this is just another aspect of that. Its what makes the game great.

The problem is, the umpires continually make bad calls but won't admit it unless in extreme cases. And even if the umpire admits it after the fact, such as in the case of the bad call that ruined Detroit Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga's perfect game, after a game is over, what's done is done.
In the future, who knows, it may just be your favorite team that loses out on a playoff or World Series game 'cus of a bad call...

The higher ups in the baseball commission should be petitioned to punish umps for bad calls.

No more changes to the great American past time! Enough already! You can't take the human element from the game.
A bad call here, a wide strike there. How many "catches" are made for outs when replay clearly shows the ball was trapped? It all evens out in the end.

i tend to agree with this. it's a tough call, but i still think it should stay as is
