Please suggest places for Infant & Child CPR class.
I've been meaning to take an infant and child CPR class but never get around to it. Any suggestions on where to take one? I'm in Lindenhurst but don't mind a drive.
ETA: This is being offered at my library. Think this is good enough or should I go to a program that gives certification? I don't need it for a job, I am a SAHM and want it for "just in case". Certified instructor will conduct a user friendly CPR course that will teach adult, child, and infant CPR and FBAO (foreign body airway obstruction). This course will qualify participants as a certified instructor, but there is no formal exam or certificate issued from the American Heart Associa- tion. This course is not designed to meet the needs for job certification. A fee of $15 per person is for instruction and materials. Reg. begins January 24.

I think your library class is fine. I used to be certified for years as a swim instructor, DH is adult certified for work each year...but for this class it was just a how to for just in case situations, we didnt get a certificate this time.

Patti, I think this sounds sufficient.
I hired in a CPR training couple and got 12 friends together and we made a party of it before my first DD was born. We didn't choose the certification but we all learned so much for ourselves and our loved ones.
