Please tell me if you love or hate your Tempur-Pedic Mattress
They are $$$ but the mattress we have now is horrible so I am considering the splurge.
Please tell me what you love or hate about Tempur-Pedic & where did you purchase it from? tia

oh no, I really didn't want to hear bad reviews.. lol.
We have a stearns & foster pillowtop now & we have back aches everyday, the damn pillowtop has formed sink holes & won't go back to original shape (we are both thin so it's not our weight) I just don't know which mattress is best.

Same here! I hate it. I sweat every night and it feels like I am laying on tightly packed sand.

Before you spend the $$, go to Bob's and at least try their version.. the Bob'o'pedic. I'm not a fan of most of their furniture, but we have the bob'o'pedic & I love it. So glad we didnt pay more for a tempurpedic!

yup, DH was dying for it and we got it when we got married...now that we moved we're looking to stick this in the guest room and possibly get a sleep number or something with a pillow top and comfortable!!!!

Used to love it, but it definitely makes you hot, and now I just can't get comfortable in it. Had it for over 10 years. I look forward to when we go away and sleep in a "real" mattress

We got the Bob O Pedic...best investment EVER. DH and I love it, I sleep so sound on it and don't toss and turn!

This is why we got a Simmons Comforpedic.. their memory foam is not temperature sensitive like Tempurpedic's.
We also liked that the Comfopedic is Certipur
http://www.certipur.us/ Tempurpedics have a horrific smell when new, our comforpedic didn't.
DH works for a major retailer and even a competitor rep was saying how much better the Comforpedic's foam (it's called NXG memory foam) is than others.
There are also Latex beds that are good for bad backs.

how does memory foam work? I'm guessing it conforms to your body nicely while you sleep but then the mattress bounces back, right? I hate my mattress now b/c the pillowtop has left permanent dips in the mattress from our bodies.

That's exactly how it works. Our bed isn't 100% memory foam, it has latex in the core so that it doesn't dip TOO much when you're in it but it doesn't push back like springs do.
So far, we both love it.

I have 2 friends who have it. They love it but they told me it is SOOO hot. They are sweating a lot at night.

I need some advice.
When we went shopping DH insisted on the Tempur Pedic because of my bad back. I liked the Simmons better but it was more expensive so we had to go with the Tempurpedic
I hate it. I'm never hot, but in this bed I'm always hot and sweating..like damp every night. My back is ACHY..
Has anyone been successful in returning it, or will I get used to it?
