Please tell me this is a stage

My son hates being held by DH. He screams bloody murder like he is trying to kill him. It has been for the past few days and the only thing that helps is when I take him...he stops crying all together. Which of course makes DH feel worse. Please tell me that this will pass! DS is 3 months old....it breaks my heart that he is going through this. And the thing is that if DS is with me, and DH makes a funny face, DS laughs at him, so I know he loves his daddy, but why is he doing this?? Please help...I am almost in tears over this!

You can do a search on my name - I posted the SAME EXACT THING. I couldn't go to Target without DH calling me to come home bc he couldn't calm Jack down.

THANK GOD that stage has passed. I would say it lasted a good month.

It happens....like my dd is almost 7 months and goes to daddy, plays with him, laughs but the minute I walk in the room, she sees me and cries.

I feel bad for DH but he understands that I am with her a lot...she used to me.
