Please tell me this is normal!
For the past few days I've been having these waves of sharp suprapubic, rarely left-sided pains lasting for less than a minute. I wouldn't think of it but it's been worse today. No spotting/bleeding or anything. Sometimes when I move around it's worse.
I'm only 5 1/2 to 6 weeks (don't know right now). It's too early for round ligament pains right?
I'm so paranoid since the m/c...so much so that I am enjoying having morning sickness (no puking though )
Thanks!

Re: Please tell me this is normal!
Sorry to hijack but I am interested in the answer to this as well, as I have been having sharp twinges on my right side that last for about 1 second. I am currently 6w 4d. I had an ultrasound last week which showed a normal pregnancy but now I am all nervous. I have a drs appt tomorrow - but i called the nurse and she said it could be stretching. I get all paranoid b/c I go on the net and find things about ectopic pregnancies where 1 is normal and the other isn't...

I got those pains also. The dr just said it was your uterus stretching or something. Mine usually came when I was sitting or laying a little hunched over and then I stood up. But overall the dr. said not to worry.

Re: Please tell me this is normal!
I have gotten tons of sharp, stabbing pains, along with weird stretching feelings. I got them a lot when I was very early along, although I still get them. I think as long as there is no spotting you are fine.

Re: Please tell me this is normal!
Maybe this is a good sign! Doctor's appt is on Tuesday - I can't wait. DH may or may not be able to make it b/c of work...
I'm on a hiatus before I start work in mid-June so I spend too much time thinking about things
Thanks for calming me down ladies!

Re: Please tell me this is normal!
YES- I had them too, when I would get up it would hurt if I coughed or sneezed I would get that sharp pain only on my left side until last week I started to get it on my right side now. My doctor said its normal its our uterus stretching. If I had a fever or bleeding/spotting then he said that is not normal. I still get them here and there and Im 7 weeks 2 days now. they come and go.
