please tell me what daycare is worth $1100 PER WEEK?!?!?!?!? UPDATE because I'm a dummy
DH was visiting the Gymboree in Oceanside and stopped into Loving and Learning right next door.....to see what it was about.
Whatever it's about it was $1100 per week...I said to DH he must have misunderstood.....then he showed me the pricing schedule.....and he was correct.
So unless I will never have to pay one high school or college tuition bill, what justifies over $4k a month for daycare???????

Oh I know! My son is in Tutor Time at a quarter that price!!!! DH just stopped in to keep our options open....but THAT is not an option!!!!

Oh I thought you were still pricing out daycares and were having sticker shock....I was like "no, thats not what its really like".
I have no idea what they can be doing for $1100/week.

My friend sends her DS there and said it was about $1650/month I thought.
I know they have a lot of classes (music, gym, art, etc.) but not $4K worth

My cousin sends her two boys there and there is no way on earth she is paying that much times two. I know it's not inexpensive but it can't be that much.

I'm gonna look at it again, I threw it out so it might be gone. But I DO remember carefully examining it and the cheaper of the packages was in the $900s. I asked DH if that was for the entire block to go there??!?!?!

OK, I feel a LOT better now! and yes, me and DH especially, are dummies....
It IS $1185/month for a toddler and $1427 for an infant.....
And what I like about them now is that they take 10% of EACH child if there are multiples....my place is 10% off the cheaper kid.
Sorry for the confusion!!!!!!

That's not a bad price, FT at my TT is close to that (but includes early drop off and late pickup).

That's not a bad price, FT at my TT is close to that (but includes early drop off and late pickup).
Well I also forgot to add that this is from 8-4, so it doesn't include an extra $7 per day to pick up at 5......so that's another $420/month for 2 kids....which is way higher than TT after the discount still!
