Please tell me who I should contact regarding this...
DH was working for the state and they did lay offs right during orientation. How crazy is that! Ok, well we are over that part except 3/5 weeks they made everyone take the train in day by day and told them the $ would be reimbursed. Ok, well that hasnt happened and aside from train tickets, he is also out mileage and gas for 3 weeks from other situations. He called HR who states "it is not our dept". Um ok...well whose is it? They said its a special fund. We've had no luck and he is out about 1000 dollars. HR tells him to wait. He has been gone 4 weeks now. Is there someone I can call to speed up the process? Maybe a state official etc..? TIA

yes, definitely. BUT there is a "secret fund" that has the money and its just not available to us as of yet....c'mon now...hes been gone for 3-4 weeks. This is so ridiculous!
