Please vote - Which one would you want?

Ok so we decided to buy my Nephew the play house for his birthday.

Which one would you pick?? DH thinks #1 is more of a boys place with the sports wall, and it kinda looks like a firehouse ( My bil is a fireman so my nephew loves that kind of stuff)

#2 is more conventional but has alot of fun sounds and stuff. I am including the description of each from the toysruswebsite

Also #1 is $80 more then #2.

Considering all the details, I would say #1. My $1 reason? The daddy is a fireman, and kids always look up to their mommy & daddy.

#1 is so cool. I love the basketball hoop and the gas station. How fun!

I was just at my friends house the other day and her son had it and I also thought it was a school. I didnt really get a chance to analyze why a school would have a gas pump on it bc we were chasing after the kids but a school is exactly what I thought. $80 is a big difference. But it is pretty cute, I do prefer that one over #2

ETA: I think the basketball hoop, net & hole crawl through will keep him more interested than a plain house.

I like the way #1 looks, but depending on the child...some like things that make noise. The basketball hoop is cool too to help with coordination.

I like #1 the best not only because of the way it looks but also all the things to do. My son was in this same house over the summer and about 8 other kids were all having a ball with it.

As for the building itself, I don't think its supposed to be just one thing, one side is the basketball, the other does look like a schoolhouse, a 3rd side has a "driveup" window and atm and a market, and the 4th has gas and a telephone. And if I remember correctly the inside was made to look like a house, so its your home and town all in one LOL!

I would say #1 too. I didn't notice it was a schoolhouse until someone said it. Looked very firehouse-like minus the big screen tv to me.

Both are great - but I'd opt for #1 on the firehouse theme.

I love #1! It has so many options for imaginitive play! I know I would have loved that as a kid.
