Plum organics vs. Ella's Kitchen vs. Making your own
We are into the land of starting solids now and I am trying different brands and seeing what the twins like. I always thought I would make my own organic food for them, but then I discovered Ella's Kitchen and Plum Organics pouches and they seem pretty natural and organic. DD had a reaction to the Gerber - I think because of the preservatives. For those who opt to make your own, is there a real health benefit to doing so rather than some of the other options where the only ingredient in the food is organic fruit? I am going back to work and time is not what I thought it was going to be so I'm stressing. Obviously making my own will save me $. TIA!

I make my own to save money and know whats in it, but use both those brands as well as Happy Baby when out. Now that DS is 10 months, he often eats what we eat.

Re: Plum organics vs. Ella's Kitchen vs. Making your own
As the previous poster stated, I made my own organic foods not only to save money, but I know exactly what is in it. I also used Plum Organics, Ella's Kitchen, and Happy Baby when we were out. My DD is 2 now but #2 is on the way and I plan to do the same. I too am a FTWM but would spend 1 day (Sundays) to make food and freeze for about 2 weeks time, that way it was ready and available during the week. Good luck!

I made my own food for a while, but it took so much time and I kinda hate cooking.
I use Earth's Best and I get it from Amazon in bulk. I do subscribe and save and it is even cheaper. If I need some in a pinch, BRU sells it and they have a good selection. Not many stores have a good selection.
