Plus Size & Big-Boobie girls...
What type of bras do you wear?
Where do you get them from?
I have been wearing bras from Lane Bryant from their Cacique line for years but it's time to buy new ones and am looking for other options.
I am probably going to go to Georgette's in Hicksville tomorrow since she did a great job fitting me for my bra for the wedding -- but I'm afraid she'll only have oldish looking bras.

I like the Goddess 3910. It's not "sexy", but it works well under fitted clothes (no lines).
Otherwise, check out Freya and Panache.
(Laurensilva.com carries larger sizes. Bravissimo.com is a great one to check out too! I buy all my strappy tops from them.)

Re: Plus Size & Big-Boobie girls...
I went to Georgette's and got fitted and she sold me two "goddess" bras --- they are kinda dorky looking but fit good --- now that I know my size though I am going to order a few more in styles that are a little bit sexier --- can't go too sexy because of my size --- but these ones make me feel like an old granny.

Sounds funny but I bought some bras by Queen Latifa in Walmart. I think I actually read the recommendation on LIF. They are very supportive and comfortable. AND there are non granny styles to boot!

I get bras made by MaidenForm. I love the Lilyette ones. I've gotten them at Macy's and at the outlets, they are wonderful and affordable.

I was looking on Walmart.com and couldn't find the queen latifa bras --- I never go to walmart because the store itself is a pain in the neck -- and i wanted to see if they have my size before I went there since I woldn't be going there anyway -- do they sell these bras online anywhere?

Re: Plus Size & Big-Boobie girls...
Have any of you ever tried Aviana Bras . They look like they would be really nice and aren't as oldish looking as some of the other bras for full-figured women. They are expensive -- but I'd buy it if it meant that I'd have a good bra that was comfortable and didn't give me problems all the time!!
PS -- Just wanted to add that I HATE the bras that I bought at Georgette's over the weekend. There is $60 down the drain! I have had sucess with Georgette in the past -- so I would certainly go to her again -- but they are softcup and I just hate the shape they give me --- and they are still riding up in the back like my old bras did even though she fitted me. So I'm still on the hunt for a better bra.
I just ordered a Goddess Underwire bra and the Bali flower bra online -- so we'll see how that goes!

I recently bought a few Bali bras that are pretty comfy and the fit is great.

I vote for Wacoal also. They are excellent. Very comfortable and very supportive. They are sold at the Walt Whitman Macy's.
