Plus size Maternity clothes in Suffolk County??
I've only had the best of finding anything at the Source Mall Maternity Works in plus sizes. Anyone find anything good in Suffolk County?
I want to pick up a few casual summer short sleeve/thinner tops and maybe capris.
I want to go today or tomorrow so please no online recommendations and only if you know for sure the actual store has a decent plus size summer selection. Went to JC Penney in the fall and they had 4 plus size career wear things and not really my style/taste.
Thanks!

Re: Plus size Maternity clothes in Suffolk County??
I'm throwing in an added gripe...
I'm well aware that I am what I am with my size and I do the best I can to not be. Not getting heartbroken or have self image issues over it but why...
In a simple rouched tee shirt does regular size have 17 adorable summery colors to choose from and plus size has black
and baby's first bowl movement meconium?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I'm just gonna have to squeeze myself into an XL to be cute!

Honestly I havent found any large selection ANYWHERE. Most stores have 1-3 racks tops. there is a destination Motherhood with a few plus size racks ( biggest selection I have seen too) on Route 110 across the street from the Walt whitman mall.

Re: Plus size Maternity clothes in Suffolk County??
I know you said Suffolk but the Motherhood store at the Broadway mall has plus sizes. I don't really know of anywhere else. The JCPenny by me has NOTHING! What you saw at your store was probably a return from the catalogue or something. It totally sucks.
As for your second post, ITA. It's so frustrating.
Are there any second hand stores by you??? You may be able to pick some things up there. That's where I got most of my clothes when I was pg the first time.

Re: Plus size Maternity clothes in Suffolk County??
I can tell you where NOT to go...Kohls...I walked around the store four times looking for their maternity section. Finally, I had a sales girl take me to where it was....no wonder I missed it....TWO WHOLE RACKS with maybe 6 things on each.
i really dont get these stores....they stock every other useless POS article of clothing, but they cant stock clothes for women having babies?

You can try the Motherhood outlet in Riverhead. I got some good stuff there. Otherwise I order online from Old Navy or the Gap.

I am pretty sure that the Target in Bayshore has Plus Size Maternity..prob only a few to choose from like everything else...but its worth a shot. Have you tried Burlington Coat Factory? They have a small Maternity section (about 7 LONG racks) and they might have plus size too. HTH

Oh cool... I just called the Gardiner Manor Old Navy in that shopping center and they have a maternity section with XXL so I'll check out Target while I'm there too!
Today I went to Lane Bryant and nothing was really belly flattering. They did have some long dresses that were kind of cute on a prego but I'd have no where to wear them. A little too dressy.
And I know it was recommended not to go but Kohl's was right there so I checked. And yes, they have nothing. There were a couple XL tees that could have worked but I'd be more comfortable in XXL so I'll check Old Navy.
