plz post pics of the toy storage you love!
sorry i know this has been done a million times. i'm looking for something inexpensive that can hold big toys and can be closed so my little guy can't take out everything on his own.
editted to add: looking more for a wooden shelf type organizer. maybe with doors or bins that close.

Are you looking for a toy chest or for shelving/bin type shelving.
If you are looking for toy chest/storage type stuff, I have one for you that you can have. Someone gave it to me and I don't use it EVER.
It's a GIANT frog. The top opens and you put a bunch of toys in it.
I will have to take a pic for you. It's like 3 ft wide. Make 2.5ft.

We actually bought a PAX cabinet from ikea for the LR. They come in all different sizes, designs & colors. It's worked out great and it's deep enough to fit the big toys.

We have the Ikea system with the bins. It's great!!!!! So many combination, heigth and several color bins to choose from.

and we use storage bins or plastic storage bins

I am glad you both like it - we are in the process of installing in our basement now. I like that you can use bins with it or shelves. You can also get lids for the bins.
