PMS Symptoms Question
According to fertility friend, I ovulated on Monday. I already have sore boobs. i am currently on day 22. I am starting to get worried that i have a very short LP. Last month it was 11 days. I have been taking B-6 supplements but I wont know if that helps until this cycle is over.
Anyway - my question is, does anyone else get sore boobs so soon after ovulating? If i werent charting I would just think that this is the start of normal PMS and AF would be due next week.....

Hey there!
I get sore boobs the day after I ovulate. I take it as a sign that I have in fact ovulated. For me, its the surge of progesterone that comes after ovulating that causes my boobs to get sore.
If you don't normally get sore boobs that soon after ovulating.....maybe that means your progesterone is higher than normal right now!! Which I think would be a good sign!!!

okay - thank you! I thought I was going nuts. I think that I was just so clueless with my cylce before. I am on Day 22 so I think that in prior months I would normally just chalk this up to PMS and think that AF was going to arrive soon. But, now that i am thinking back I remember complaining last year that I had PMS for the two weeks leading up to my period. I guess it was just a sign that i ovulated! I always thought that it was too late in my cylce and that I was ovulating so much earlier. You know, it really is terrible how clueless women can be about all of this stuff. We should really be taught it in 7th or 8th grade. I really thought I knew my body - boy did I think wrong!

It is the same thing for me...I actually have to take supplements to lower my progesterone in the 2ww since it is always high and causes my boobs to be very sore right after O...I am currently on Vitex which helps to minimize the pain....and regulate my high progesterone....
I also noticed that the sorness flactuate from month to month....
