I had one and never used it. Crib sheets fit them just fine if you really need a sheet on it.

Re: PNP sheets, are they really necessary?

I put a towel on it then a sheet. That way, the pad is protected from spit up, etc.

Yes, if they spit up or have a leaky diaper, you can just toss the sheet in the wash and not worry about the matress part of the pnp.

Re: PNP sheets, are they really necessary?

i think they are. we used the pnp alot and when olivia was little she spit up often. i got the one made graco that had the elastic around the whole sheet. this one is best to prevent suffication.

I use both PNP sheets and if they are in the laundry, I use Crib sheets which fit pretty good too.

Re: PNP sheets, are they really necessary?

right now he is using the bassinet part of our PNP and I haven't used a sheet yet. I put down a receiving blanket and that works well for us.

We never really used ours for sleeping, so I didn't keep one in there--if anything, I put a blanket down. However, the sheets are necessary for us since we use the PNP as a crib when we go away.

Re: PNP sheets, are they really necessary?

Yes, but I only have one sheet and never needed more. I use it when we take the PNP on a trip where DS sleeps in it.

Re: PNP sheets, are they really necessary?

I always use a sheet. When we go to NY & use SIL's we always bring our own sheet.

Re: PNP sheets, are they really necessary?

I don't plan on using it for sleeping, mostly for the changing table part. I always put down a pad and blanket if I put Roman in it to sleep for any amount of time, but then again he was not a spitterupper at all. I guess I'll see. Thanks for the opinions.Chat Icon

I always used a sheet to protect it from spit up. The elastic sheets work best.

I am happy I had it on the other day when DS's diaper leaked and another time he spit up.
