TIA!

Re: PODS storage
My Dad used this although for moving-it does sit in your driveway so I think its more for people doing renovations or moving and not long term. If you need long term I would get a storage unit

Re: PODS storage
I believe you can keep your pod in your driveway or have it stored in their warehouse or they move it for you. Look at the website there is more information and prices.

Re: PODS storage
we have alot of renovations going on in my neighborhood & I've seen tons of pods lately, I'm assuming they are worth it since so many people are using them

Re: PODS storage vs. regular storage units
oh I missed the regular storage unit part...we had a small unit for about a year the my DH used for work equiptment. It was $100 & totally worth it. It was climate controlled & clean. No problems.

Really? Where was it? We'd need one for about a year also but I'm thinking a medium sized one for our furniture and boxes

Re: PODS storage vs. regular storage units
My parents used them when they were moving from their house. They needed to have the stuff stored so the company brought the Pods to the house, we packed them up, then they came, took the pods to a storage facility. They were kept there umtil my parents moved into the new house, then they were taken out of storage and brought to the house. It was very convient since we didnt have access to a truck.
If you need to get into one of your pods, you can either have it brought to your house or go to the storage facility and they will pull it.
My parents bought locks for each unit so only they had access to them.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: PODS storage vs. regular storage units
My mom & dad are renovating and just recently called PODS, they wanted $175 a month and you had to pay $500 for insurance for a year. I don't remember if she said their was a drop off and pick up fee. The company my mom ending up going with is like Pods but different company. It is $235 for pick up and $235 for drop off then $95 a month which includes insurance. She only needs it for about 3 months so it was worth her doing that.
