Political Question for those not voting for Trump (GWB vs DJT)
I'm curious about people that are not voting for Trump in this election.
If your choice was Donald Trump vs George W. Bush - who would you vote for?
For the record - in the past I could NEVER see myself voting for GWB (although I like George HW Bush) - but if this were the contest now - hands down I would vote for him over trump.
Didn't realize you can't edit a poll - since GWB didn't run against Obama - make that Gore/Kerry.

If they were the 2 major party candidates, I would vote for Bush, (but I am a lifelong Democrat, so I would pick Bush over Trump because I DESPISE Trump)

I have never voted for a republican candidate for President in my life, but I would choose literally any one of the Republican nominees in the last 22 years over Trump. In fact, I'd pick any one of the Republican nominees in the last 42 years over Trump, but I've only been able to vote for the last 22.

GWB without a question - he was incompetent in his own right, but he had a political background and was never a loudmouthed bigot like Trump.

Same. Have been voting for Democrat presidents since 1992 even when I wasn't enthused about them (Kerry, Gore). And while I did not thing GWB was a good president at all, I do think he is a decent person. I do not think Trump is a decent person at all. He's a lying shitweasel and probably the worst presidential candidate I have seen.

I consider myself an independent with slightly right leanings who is not voting for Trump. I would vote for GWB in a heartbeat over him.

I thought GW lacked intelligence and made a lot of bad decisions. He wasn't the most eloquent but he had a soul. Trump could not string a sentence together if his life depended on it, he is a racist, he has no understanding of Islam or terrorism or Russia, he doesn't care about equal rights, he wants to pin people against one another, he is a impulsive asshole!!! If it were between GW and Trump I would absolutely vote for GW!
