Poll: Do you wrap your childrens xmas gifts?

Hi,

We are in a dilemma. We are trying to decide if we should wrap Ava's xmas presents from Santa. My parents wrapped ours, if I remember correctly. DH grew up with all Santas presents not wrapped. :)

So, how are you doing it?

our DS is one tomorrow and we aren't wrapping them, since he doesn't understand it yet anyway..

WE bought special wrapping paper for Santa to use So yes, our presents will be wrapped and under the tree. Andrew will know which ones are his because they will be wrapped in the paper we leave for Santa.

I always wrapped every present for my girls and I will wrap them for my grandson. They were close to a year in age for their first Christmas, but, even, if they were infants, I, still, would have wrapped them. Half the joy is seeing the look on their faces when they open a present.

We didn't wrap anything last year bc he was 6mo old... But we did this year since he'll enjoy it more. The only thing we aren't wrapping is the battery operated motorcycle, we're going to put it together and just put a bow on it.

I'm wrapping up some of Julia's presents, like her box's of clothes we got her, but we arent wrapping all her toys cause we are going to set everything up the night before so she will be so surprised in the morning.......

The ones from Santa will be unwrapped and the ones from us will be wrapped. My son is getting older and hes very sharp, I think he might figure out the Santa thing early if we dont set up a good system to fool him now. Santa wouldnt be able to wrap all those present for all those kids. Last year we just did presents from Santa, all unwrapped and it was too much, we decided they might enjoy it more if they get to open some and they can have a breather between presents

We wrap ours, mainly because they enjoy unwrapping the presents more than the presents themselves!

Once the presents mean more than the wrapping paper, we may stop wrapping them. DW and I don't wrap each other's presents.

Of course! It is a tradition in our family that everyone gets their own special wrapping paper for their gifts. (and Santa has special wrapping paper as well for everyone )
We only got Mikey one gift this year and it's too big to wrap (a Radio Flyer) but in years to come our gifts will always be wrapped.

When I was growing up, some things were wrapped and some things weren't. I think I'm going to do the same thing for my children. The big stuff especially wasn't wrapped, but if there was something else that my mom wanted us to see right away when we came down to the tree, she didn't wrap it.

I always had all my presents wrapped.

the ones from Santa have his picture on the paper.

We wrap all of their gifts. We wrap all of our kids gifts from Santa in different wrapping paper then we wrap other peoples gifts in.
I think it's fun for them to unwrap their presents! My kids are 7 and 4, but we have always done it this way.

I wrapped all her gifts from Santa in a cute Santa paper. I even wrapped her gifts last year and she was only 3 months old.

I vote for wrapped! Thats part of the fun of receiving gifts!

I have wrapped everything, even when my dd was 4 months old and my ds was 2 months old. You just open them up for them and let them watch you. They really enjoyed it.

My parents always wrapped the Santa presents. how else would we know who they were for? But, there was always special "santa" paper.

Even though Steven is only one month, I did the same for him and will continue the tradition
