POLL: When Is /did your child get the MMR?

My Ped wants to give her the MMR and chicken Pox at her 12 month visit. My DD runs fevers after her vaccinations (high like 101) and it sounds like so much to me. She said she would only consider delaying one until 15 months..... not sure what to do? She also mentioned Hep A shot?

Edited to add that my mom takes care of DD, so no daycare

My PED does not administer them until 21months and DC is saying words (one and 2or more together)

I am delaying it until she is 3

Our ped gives the MMR & Chicken Pox at the 15 month visit. I just personally didn't want her getting those 2 big ones at the same time (and so early), so she got Chicken Pox at 17.5 months and will likely get MMR when she turns 2.

My DS got the MMR at 15 months.

My ped doesn't give Chicken Pox unless DC is in daycare/school. So he will get it next fall before he starts nursery school.

DS is 16 months and I am not sure when I will the MMR ... after 18 months (march) but I am not sure how much longer I will delay.

I am not comfortable with delaying it for long, I do heartily believe in vaccines, but after our experience last July at his 9-month visit I am hesitant to givce this one 'on schedule' --- I would like to see a bit more development before I give it.

Mine does the same. Chix and MMR at 12 mos. I didn't want both at the same time. So Chix at 12 mos and MMR at 15 mos. No reaction from the Chix, he did get a low fever and was cranky for a few days from the MMR.

My ped doesn't believe in doing the MMR and chicken pox shot at the same visit. He does one at 12 months and one at 13 months. Personally while I am in favor of shots I think 2 live ones at one time is a lot for their system esp when it is the first live vaccines they will receive. I would split them to at least MMR one visit and chicken pox another - when you are comfortable giving them.

Etd to add. DD got a high fever and rash 9 days after the MMR and 2 weeks after the chicken pox shot. She never had a reaction to any other vaccination before those two (or since those two).

My ped gives the MMR at 15 months, but will break it up if we desire, which we might.
Not sure on the chicken pox (that's the varicella right?), but I won't give them together.....

Doubt Gavin will be healthy when he turns 15 months, that's next week and he'll still be on antibiotics, so we may wait a bit for the MMR.

DS is 17 mos and I still don't know what to do about this

ETA: He has not had the chicken pox or MMR yet.

I was planning on delaying it but we were going to Italy when he was 13 months and my ped was adamant that he have it - and I agreed.

DD was scheduled to get it at 12 and 14 months but was sick both times. She is now scheduled to get it at 19 months

DS will get it b/t 2-3 yrs old (prob closer to 3 though)

We delayed AND split the MMR. He got them 2 months apart and we started at 18 months.
