Poll: Would you fly on a plane at 28 weeks?
I am scheduled to go on a business trip -- alone -- and I will be 28 weeks along. My doctor says it's fine to fly at that time, but I still feel uncertain. What would you do? All suggestions are appreciated.
NOTE: I added the approximate length of the flight to the poll question.

I am flying to Savannah at the end of the month - I will be 29 weeks. My doctor said it was fine and just to keep hydrated and walk around!

I tried to go away this weekend actually...I love flying, so really as long as I'm not in the "danger" weeks at the end where I might need my dr. ASAP, I am all over it!

No, but only because flying makes me so anxious already that I would be afraid I'd pass out or something.

Re: Poll: Would you fly on a plane at 28 weeks?
I did. Flew to Chicago (approx 2 hrs). Made sure I drank LOTS of water b/c air on the plane is VERY dry. And made sure I walked while we were flying. DH made me do at least 2 "laps" up and down the aisle!

Re: Poll: Would you fly on a plane at 28 weeks?
No. Earlier than that I drove to Boston and even with frequent stops it was very uncomfortable. My doc was ok with me driving at that stage but not flying due to high risk.

I wouldn't, but I am a nervous flier as it is, so for me, just not worth it

Re: Poll: Would you fly on a plane at 28 weeks?
I'm a flight attendant and I'm still flying my schedule at 25.5 weeks. My doctor says there is no reason to worry as my BP is fine and I haven't had any complications....
I will stop flying at the end of March, but only because it's just getting physically uncomfortable to walk up and down the aisles and help people put their luggage up....
Just wanted to add: Make sure you keep yourself well hydrated throughout the flight, as the air on a plane is VERY drying. Walk around when you can....

I flew back from NY to LA at 28 weeks and was fine. It wasn't even that uncomfortable as I thought it would be.
