Poodle mix
I am looking for a poodle mix. What would you suggest? I have two boys, DS1 has bad allergies so has to be hypoallergenic. Looking for a medium size since the boys will get big and be more active so don't want a little dog.
Any suggestions? Can't shed either. Not looking for now, but figured in the Fall I will start looking at breeders in the area. Hoping to get a new dog by Spring.
Thanks!

Re: Poodle mix
We had a standard poodle. Loved her. Every now and again we would find a curl on the floor. My dad has horrible allergies.... no problem with her.
We did find her at the pound. Have fun picking your new furbaby!
PS (the only "hair" breed I learned not to get with my dad's allergies was a lhasa apso. Turns out they have a shedding undercoat and my dad sneezed instantly).

Re: Poodle mix
We're getting a multi generational labradoodle. I'm not an expert, but here's a general idea. And F1 is poodle bred with a Labrador. There's still a good chance for shedding and not great for allergies. Then an F2 is either a poodle or Labrador bred with a labradoodle. Less chance of shedding, better with allergies. Then a multi-gen means labradoodle bred with labradoodle. Lowest likelihood of shedding, best for allergies. Most predictable looks and temperament.
ETA- yes I know there are a few people here who have a moral issue with labradoodles. But given what she is looking for, I think it could be a really good fit.

Re: Poodle mix
I have a cockapoo, it's a cocker spaniel/poodle mix, he's 30 pounds, so not too small/not too big. He doesn't shed and is hypoallergenic

We have a cocker mix. We rescued her so I'm not sure what she is. Can you post pics of your puppies? I want to see if she looks like Trixie. TIA.
