pool liner slipping
Our in ground pool liner is 2 years old. It was installed days before we closed. Last year when it was less then a year old they had to come back and pop the liner back in,. They put this strip in to hold it on at the corners. I asked them to do the whole pool and the said only the corners need it. This year we uncovered the pool and guess what..... not just the corners need it. We called for them to fix it and were told $150 for the service call. They apparently don't stand behind their work. My dh questioned them on why we have to pay for something that they themselves state is a common problem and they hung up on him
I can't even name them to help others avoid them because they are a vender. So can anyone recommend someone to come and pop the liner back in where it slipped before it spreads too much and I start losing water. TIA

Re: pool liner slipping
my pool guy does it - they say it's simple - just heat up the liner and stretch. We haven't had it done yet, but will in a few weeks.
but I really like our pool guy - we went through quite a few to find him.

Re: pool liner slipping
That's BS!!! My grandparents' pool liner was 30 years old when they replaced it. Slipping after 2 years? Unacceptable!

Re: pool liner slipping
My DH does pools for a living ( commercial pools mainly)
A few friends of ours have had this issue and he has instructed them to poor hot water on the liner (drain a bit first if the water level is high)and pop it back in place...
He also said they sell something called bead lock ( I think thats what its called) that you can pop under the lining to prevent it from coming out...
