I watched it. I liked it a lot, but felt that it really needed to be a 2 part movie. It jumped from his childhood, to college years, to a little beyond, and then to his papacy.
I'm sure that LOTS of other stuff was left out...

I agree, there is so mcuh more to his lif ehtat he did, it didnt focus on his love for children or his weekly blessings.
My husband said that Jon Voit (sp) is doing a movie about him that is supposed to go to great detail.

I didn't see it, but I read the interview of the actor who plays him. There are actually 2 movies coming out on this. One is sponsered by the Vatican and one is more independent.

I think it was a little dry, considering how (like someone said) much they left out.
He was a good man though. Catholic or not, you can't deny that.
I'm curious to learn more.
