Popular movies you have not seen
When I was little, my mom rented every movie ever - I swear. I’ve seen every 80s/90s movie and then so many classics/musicals.
Today, I saw a costume on a FB group I’m in and showed my DH. My DH did not get the costume because he has never seen Beetlejuice!!! Who in their late 30s/early 40s hasn’t seen Beetlejuice??? I’ve seen it dozens of times.
I think it is so strange that he never saw it.
What movies have you never seen that people would find it odd?

Popular movies you have not seen
I’ve never had much interest in seeing Star Wars. I have seen Beetlejuice though.
My friends son dressed up as Barf from Spaceballs and all of the 40 something teachers at school were dying. The younger ones didn’t fully get it lol.

A better question would be what movies HAVE I seen? Lol
I swear I've seen so few movies it's scary.
I've never seen Beetlejuice. At least if I did, i don't remember.
I think that's the issue too...I don't have a great recall of movies. Unless I saw it multiple times or it REALLY impacted me, I watch it and forget it shortly after.
Someone was talking about something from Wolf of Wall Street the other day...I know I saw it. I know I enjoyed it even...but I don't recall very much about it because it's been years

I have seen Beetlejuice but I have not seen many of the 80's movies my friends and my DH were allowed to watch. I was never allowed to watch a lot of the Brat Pack movies. I've seen bits and pieces of some of them but never the whole thing.
I have never seen the Sound of Music or any classic movies like Casa Blanca.

I am not a movie person, so I have not seen a lot of popular movies.
A few I can think of:
-Most Disney movies. Disney is not my thing and it going to Disney World sounds like my idea of personal hell.
-Most Star Wars films (I think I may have seen Empire Strikes back and the one with that fat green guy, but I was like 7, so I have no idea what it was really about
-The Sound of Music
-The Godfather
-Grease
-Any Musical. If someone starts singing, I’m out. Except for the Wizard of Oz.
-Pulp Fiction
-Forest Gump
-The Matrix
-Goodfellas
-Terminator
The list can go on, but that’s what I can think of off the top of my head.
I usually fall asleep during movies.
That being said, I’ve seen Gone with the Wind over 100 times.

I've never seen Beetlejuice. I must have a short attention span, because a lot of movies don't interest me. I've never seen any Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, etc. movies. There are a ton of "popular" movies I just never had interest in watching.

That is me exactly. I have a very hard time sitting through a movie and focusing on it and paying attention unless it's something that is really exciting or interesting to me.
I think I have a form of attention deficit to be honest.

Same here. I like to watch movies of my interest, and at this age they have to be light and not too deep. Some of the classics or popular ... I just can't! I also forget easily what I have watched or read. Sometimes I find myself watching a movie and thinking it is very similar to something I watched before, until I realize it is the same one lol.

I've seen every movie on this thread. Not every musical ever, but enough of them. Though I've never seen Mamma Mia.
I've never seen The Notebook and never will. Same with Suicide Squad and the Joker movies. ZERO interest and I'm a big marvel nerd. I just hate the DC movies- they're so dark and boring. Of course DS was Batman for Halloween.
