Port Jefferson Community Center
Does anyone know if you have to be a resident of Port Jeff to rent a room there? If you don't do you know how much they charge and what it includes? TIA

Thanks so much--it looks so nice and that is right by danfords--I love that area. Do you know what room they had it on (1st or 3rd) and about how many people they had and if it was an adequate space. Thanks you have been so helpful today :)

Re: Port Jefferson Community Center
I know we were not on the main level because there was a glass overlook that my DS was obsessed with, so maybe the 3rd?
As for how many people, I can ask my GF but I'm guessing that there was between 60-70, and with the way they had the seating arranged, I don't "think" they would have fit 100 but I'm not totally sure
Her mom does happen to live in Port Jeff, if I can get a hold of her , I'll ask about the residency thing !

Yeah the first level will sit 250 people however i think that is lecture style. I think it will be perfect for 100-120 people and still have room for "my theme" Thanks

Re: Port Jefferson Community Center
Yeah, for her party they sort of had 2 rooms combined and the way she had it, she put all the tables in one and then the food and the entertainment ( costume character) in the other...There seemed to be lots of rooms in ther though !
Good Luck

Re: Port Jefferson Community Center
Thanks. Does anyone know how much it cost? I have a call into them I was just wondering if it was reasonable so that when they call me back and have my day available I can just book it :)

Did you also look into the Polish American Legion Hall? I had my weddin reception there ,I am not sure if it was out of your price range ,but I believe we spent $300 to rent it ,and then we had Mario's in Setauket cater it ! I am not sure about the community center though, sorry
