Portable cell phone charger
Anyone know of a good one? I was watching hsn and saw these and realized my dh could really use this as his car wont charge the phone anymore. I see the bigger/heavier they are, the better charge you get. Any tecommendations?

Portable cell phone charger
I just bought the Halo Power Patch off QVC. So far so good! Love the cute design I got (purple paisley), and the sticker patch thing works great so the charger isn't just hanging! Only thing is, the sticker patch doesn't work well if you have a pop socket on your phone.

Re: Portable cell phone charger
Thanks. Maybe I will check it out. I saw something on HSN last night, but you get three of them in separate boxes, but not sure who I can give the third too and not sure how they are.

Re: Portable cell phone charger
It depends on what your plan is with the chargers. If size and weight isn't a big issue, then usually the bigger the charger, the more capacity it has, and the more things/more times you can recharge devices.
If size is an issue, then you want to check out size vs. capacity. They have "lipstick" size chargers that have 2000-5000 mAh capacity. That capacity is plenty to recharge a phone completely, and often more than once. That's the size I usually tend towards, since I have a couple for camping and hiking, so I don't want to lug around a very heavy battery all day.

Re: Portable cell phone charger
This is the one I use - its heavy but it charges my phone quickly whenever I am at events/concerts or away from any electrical outlets for hours.

Anker. We have the dual USB one. Used it all week in Disney without having to recharge it.

100% this. We can get 6 full charges ( our IPhones at less than 10%) without having to recharge the charger battery.

So after reading the comments, I think the Halo one is probably crap compared to the anker. I charged my phone from 50% to full battery yesterday, and it used half the Halo battery. I might return it
I do have a Halo Bolt, which is supposed to jump start a cart, charge your laptop, has the plug outlet for a lamp, etc., and I do love that. This small thing...I'm thinking it's not powerful enough.
